EGM系列是立式直联、单级单吸管道离心泵，泵结构为上部开式结构，检修时可从顶部抽出泵转子部件，不需拆卸进出口管路。泵的进出口位于同一水平线上且进出口口径一致，可直接像阀门一样安装在管路的任何部位，该系列产品结构简单，机泵采用穿轴式连接，且水泵有独立的轴承支撑，机泵同心度高，机组运行噪音小，稳定可靠、效率高；维护方便，易拆易装，定位精确可靠等优点。
适用于输送清水及物理化学性质类似于水的介质，介质温度：-10℃~85℃，液体运动粘度应小于20cSt（大于20cSt时性能需要修正）且不含有任何可能对泵造成机械或化学侵害的固体颗粒或纤维液体。
环境温度：环境温度不得超过40℃；超过40℃，电机应降低功率使用。
