EAD系列型泵是卧式、轴向端吸、径向排出、单级单吸离心泵泵组，泵结构为后开式结构，拆开泵盖和叶轮时不需拆卸吸水和排出管路，悬架内装有两个球轴承（H型结构有一个双列向心推力轴承），泵通过弹性柱销联轴器由电机直接驱动（其他连接和驱动方式可以按照用户具体情况而定）。涡室、底脚、进水法兰和出水法兰铸成一体。
适用于输送清水及物理化学性质类似于水的介质，介质温度-10℃~85℃(105℃)，液体动力黏度系数应小于150cSt（大于20cSt时性能需要修正）；颗粒度小于3mm的悬浮液也可抽吸，但会磨蚀相关部件，影响泵的寿命。
本泵结构简单，性能可靠，体积小，重量轻，抗汽蚀性能好，能耗低，使用维修方便.
